Zach and Kayla

On Saturday I was lucky enough to take engagement pictures for my brother. Kayla and Zach are such an attractive couple. I am going to post a lot of pictures soon! I know Kayla is ready to see them.

Kayla and Zach have dated for the last four years. This past December Zach popped the big question at Rock City in Tennessee. For those that do not know, this city of rocks is truly magical at Christmas time...

Emily, Cody and Laila

My sister Emily and Cody have the most precious baby in the entire world. Laila is four months, but strong and so sweet. I love my little niece so much. I will post more soon!

Alliebama and Pollie

Alliebama, the Shih Tzu, loves playing but hates to have her picture taken. My mom took Allie and Pollie to the groomers and Allie came back with pink hair... but I was not able to get her to sit still and look at the camera... and as soon as we got outside she rolled around and tugged at her cute little bow. She makes messy look good though, haha.

My Mom's baby Pollie stood still and looked at the camera, even when she did not want to. She is the best little model. She is a mere 3 pounds but once attacked my sister's boxer my jumping on Daisey's face.

Sarah: My sweet Sister!

I grabbed Sarah on her way out to celebrate St. Patrick's day and took some pictures right outside our apartment. The location could have been better, but Sarah hates pictures... and she said yes... so I jumped at the chance to grab some shots of her. My little sisters are so beautiful!

I am working on the design of my Web site. I am also editing pictures. I can not wait to give Rachel her edits and Caroline her images. I love photography, because I love pictures.

Just a Glimpse...

Wedding

Tomorrow I am taking pictures at a dear friends wedding. I took her bridal pictures a few weeks ago. I am very excited and anxious.

I have soo much to learn. I am so thankful for the experience my friends and acquaintances are giving me. I really love photography.

Everyday Inspired

Everyday I learn multiple new facts, perspectives and gain new understandings of this beautiful world we live in.

I have always had this desire to capture all the beauty I see in this world. God has given us so much beauty to see.

Since I made the decision to approach photography with a serious intent, I have felt free, happy, inspired and humbled. The more I learn the more I realize I do not know, and its exciting.

And, Everyday I feel inspired.

Kristina and Georgia

 

On Friday my sweet cousin found out she and her family will be stationed outside of Sacramento in California. They will be moving in just two short weeks.

Luckily she was able to stop by Tuscaloosa. And, although I had been under the weather, I (thankfully) was well enough to spend two short hours with them. Tina is the sweetest mother, and Georgia is such a beautiful little baby girl (9 months).

I take so many things for granted. I rarely take advantage of the fact I live so close (just three short hours). Now she will live on the opposite side of the country...

Rachel Bridals

My dear friends Rachel and Stephen are getting married in a little over one week. This past Saturday Rachel and her Mom met me to take some bridals. We had a lot of fun, but we FROZE. Rachel is such a trooper, she did not complain the entire time... and I know she probably felt like she could die. It was so cold. I think the pictures turned out beautifully.
